Hi Everyone!
This is my first make up look on my blog. i know this isnt the most summer-y of looks but its been my go to, everyday, look this summer. im not very confident with eyeshadows, i find it hard to use colours other than light brown and dark brown because im worried i might look like ive been punched in the eye! haha. (im not saying that you look like you've been punched in the eye if you use other colours, im still practising with eye shadow and i dont feel like i've mastered it yet!)
on this post im going to just talk about the products i used, the prices and what my personal opinion of the product is. *if you would like a tutorial, leave a comment*
first of all i cover any spots and blemishes with this. its the Colection 200 Lasting Perfection Concealer, the retail price is £4.99 and i saw this hyped all over the beauty side of the internet, as you can see mine is extreamly well used, its pretty much empty and all the writing has rubbed off of the packaging.

i then use my rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, as much as i am using this, i personally dont think it is very good, i find it to.. liquid-y.. its extreamly thin and doesnt give a very good coverage. i was also abit of a numpty and bought the wrong shade, although i need a pale shade.. i dont need it this pale.. i have to use bronzer when i use it. the retail price for this product was £6.99.
i use this bronzer as a contour for my checks, i picked it up on a whim when i was in town one day, i went into the local bodycare shop and spotted it for £2.99. (BARGAIN!) its also really summery with the added shimmer.
i use this cute accessorize blusher, its fabulous, it was a resonable price of £4.59. when i bought it, it was on a sale due to the fact it was a new stall in my local superdrug. its now back up to its original price of around £6-£7, but still totally worth it!
carrying on with the products from accessorise i then use this eye shadow pallete. i use the 4 shades of brown on the left hand side. the pallete was around the £8 mark, so not very expensive at all taking into concideration all of the colours in the pallete. i also use the second and third shades of brown for my eyebrows.
then as a eye liner i use this supercat eyeliner from soap and glory! being completely head over heals for soap and glory i decided to try a new type of eyeliner, i took a dive, spent the £6 and tried something new, AND IM SO HAPPY WITH IT. i will always recomend this to anyone looking for an eyeliner thats good for creating flicks even just a line over the eyelid, it super easy to use, just like a pen?
for my eyelashes i just the one and only, trusty, THE FALSIES! highly reccomended by the beautiful Tanya Burr i thought id give it a go and see what i was missing out on and i have literally never had longer lashes, the mascara makes my eyelashes crazy long and its not at all clumpy. for the price of around £7.59 i will forever repurchase it!
to finish off my eyes i have recently started using this eyeliner from rimmel. i havent used many of these kohl eyeliners, but it is extreamly handy with the retractable nib and the smudger on the end. the eyeliner does drop under my eye after a few hours, but untill i find a eyeliner that doesnt do this then im happy with this eyeliner. it was around £4.99.
to finish off the look i used this hot pink lipstick from MUA, i think for £1 the lipsticks MUA have to offer are so fab, they are extreamly pigmented and last throughout the day, with a few sneaky trips to the mirror.
i adore these brushes by samantha chapman and i dont regret buying them for even a second. i saved up my birthday money and splashed out on about £50 worth of the brushes. these are the brushes i use in this look, the one on the far left is the angled eyebrow brush and it is just fantastic for shaping your eyebrows with eyeshadow. the one on the far right i use for patting down the colour and the middle one i use to blend!.. blendings my favourite part!
as much as you probably shouldnt use the same brush for foundation, blusher, powder, brozer, and blending... BUT I JUST CANT HELP IT!!!! this is the most amazing brush and i will never not use it, thank you samantha chapman for creating them! but yes i use this brush for everything!
so guys, there we are! my first proper post! i hope you found it helpful and feel free to ask me any questions, tell me anything i can do to improve or just say hi:-)
thanks again,
